Naidu also said that the most important aspect of improving accessibility in healthcare is the development of scalable and affordable solutions and added that the government of Andhra Pradesh is working in that direction to pave the way for a healthier Andhra Pradesh.
“We’re committed to making healthcare facilities accessible to address maternal and infant mortality. “Met with Dr Prateek Sharma, President of ASGE and Chair of the AI Institute in the USA, along with Dr Rakesh Kalapala, Director of the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Innovation at AIG Hospitals, on the newly constituted HealthCare Consortium with focus areas on harnessing AI and digital health in support of transforming healthcare delivery in Andhra Pradesh, especially for maternal and child health. The consortium’s approach includes AI-driven diagnostics, predictive risk assessments, and real-time chatbots to deliver scalable, affordable healthcare, particularly in rural areas,” Naidu said in a post on X.
“The consortium seeks to identify critical areas and apply AI-driven diagnostics for risk assessments and automated care solutions. The innovations discussed include deploying real-time informative chatbots on phones in local language. This would help guide expectant mothers, on nutrition, prenatal care, and symptoms to watch out for. The chatbot could be integrated with local health worker networks, ensuring advice aligns with government guidelines, and also send reminders for appointments,” he added in the post. (ANI)
