“Only earning money through corruption…The party will go away”: BJP MP hits out at AAP – World News Network

New Delhi [India], February 10 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party MP Sanjay Jaiswal hit out at the Aam Aadmi Party on Monday, claiming that the AAP only “earned money through corruption” and predicted the party would be disbanded after their defeat in the Delhi elections.
“All members of AAP, had come together only on the basis of corruption. They could not finish corruption but INDI Alliance was finished. Now, when their government in Delhi is gone, AAP will go away too because they had just one connection – earning money through corruption. That facility has gone. So, the party will go away too,” the BJP MP told ANI
AAP faced their first defeat in Delhi assembly elections since the party’s inception (in 2013), with the BJP getting over two-third majority by winning 48 out of 70 seats in the assembly. AAP, on the other hand won only 22 seats, while Congress failed to win any seat thrice in a row.
Jaiswal also expressed confidence in the NDA alliance winning the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, saying that it “will be an achievement” if Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav gets even 20 pc of vote share.”
“It is completely different (political scenarios in Delhi and Bihar). There will be no contest there. It will be an achievement for Tejashwi Yadav if he gets 20-22% votes. There is NDA government in Bihar and everyone knows that the government is functioning very well. So, a little contest was seen in Delhi but there will be no fight in Bihar,” the MP said.
The upcoming Bihar elections are expected to take place later in the year, the dates are yet to be announced by the Election Commission.
He further hit out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, alleging that while the states where the BJP is governing gives additional money to anganwadi workers, the Congress does not do the same.
“Government takes care of them…Every state government provides additional money to the angwanwadi workers too. Rahul Gandhi should answer why is it not done in Congress-ruled states,” he told ANI.
Earlier today, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha highlighted the role anganwadi workers play in the country’s development. He met with anganwadi workers in Parliament, and criticised the government for not addressing the demands of the workers regarding job regularisation and receiving gratuity. (ANI)
